Your responsibilities

  • Design, develop and test prototypes of advanced AI/ML algorithms to be used in various business applications (job matching, automated data corrections, data validation, text analytics, advanced data analysis)

  • Work with the DevOps and other Technology teams to implement and deploy the algorithms to ensure client/business needs are met and system performance is optimized

  • Monitor performance of the algorithms and suggest further ways of re-training and improving them

  • Identify opportunities for leveraging advanced analytics in transforming the business to the next level

  • Closely cooperate with the Business, Technology and Operations teams to ensure that machine learning models operate correctly

Our requirements

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in a previous data scientist position

  • Very good command of English

  • Excellent practical knowledge of Python, including version control, unit testing and documentation

  • Ability to wrangle datasets and perform exploratory data analysis

  • Machine learning: very good knowledge of scikit-learn and TensorFlow

  • NLP: SpaCy, NLTK or other NLP package (good knowledge of at least one)

  • Hands-on experience with NLP applications (e.g. question-answering, sentiment analysis, summarization), building custom RNNs, using pre-trained models (e.g. BERT)

  • Big Data: Spark

  • Cloud computing: general understanding of AWS platform and its services, hands-on experience with SageMaker

  • Databases: SQL, MongoDB (good knowledge of at least one)

  • VCS: Git (hands-on experience)

Optional

  • Machine learning: PyTorch

  • Web development – Flask / Django

  • Virtualization: Docker / Kubernetes

  • Data visualization in Python

  • Programming in R + Shiny
