Your responsibilities
Design, develop and test prototypes of advanced AI/ML algorithms to be used in various business applications (job matching, automated data corrections, data validation, text analytics, advanced data analysis)
Work with the DevOps and other Technology teams to implement and deploy the algorithms to ensure client/business needs are met and system performance is optimized
Monitor performance of the algorithms and suggest further ways of re-training and improving them
Identify opportunities for leveraging advanced analytics in transforming the business to the next level
Closely cooperate with the Business, Technology and Operations teams to ensure that machine learning models operate correctly
Our requirements
1-2 years of professional experience in a previous data scientist position
Very good command of English
Excellent practical knowledge of Python, including version control, unit testing and documentation
Ability to wrangle datasets and perform exploratory data analysis
Machine learning: very good knowledge of scikit-learn and TensorFlow
NLP: SpaCy, NLTK or other NLP package (good knowledge of at least one)
Hands-on experience with NLP applications (e.g. question-answering, sentiment analysis, summarization), building custom RNNs, using pre-trained models (e.g. BERT)
Big Data: Spark
Cloud computing: general understanding of AWS platform and its services, hands-on experience with SageMaker
Databases: SQL, MongoDB (good knowledge of at least one)
VCS: Git (hands-on experience)
Optional
Machine learning: PyTorch
Web development – Flask / Django
Virtualization: Docker / Kubernetes
Data visualization in Python
Programming in R + Shiny
