Your role:
As a Software Engineer in DWH, you will be working with versatile technologies and handle mass data in Oracle as well as in Big Data. In a Scrum team, you and your team are responsible to drive the platform changes and bring in your ideas to improve our processes and tool landscape.
Your tasks:
- Taking over versatile tasks in an agile team in a Business Intelligence environment
- Analyzing, understanding and accompanying requirements from the first user story until go-live
- Doing analytical tasks in the context of Business Intelligence
- Assisting application support
- Documenting technical processes
- Doing code reviews
Your skills:
- Knowledge of software development of any Hadoop distribution, Big Data Hive or Spark tools
- Experience in Oracle PL / SQL development
- Agile mindset, understanding the DevOps approach
- The high degree of quality awareness and reliability
- Very good English skills, German is an optional plus
- Knowledge of development tools such as Kafka, Maven, Jenkins, Git or Subversion
- Experience in classic data warehouses
- Knowledge of structures like utPLSQL, Junit, unit tests
- Programming skills in Java and Groovy
