About the project

Do you want to work in a development environment, where sparring with others, growth and cross-disciplinary learning is important? Then we might have the right opportunity for you.

We are looking for a Data Warehouse developer ready to join Data & Cloud domain.

You will work as a software engineer in a Data Warehouse team with 10 people.

We are working on many different features like GDPR, TDM, performance optimization, traditional DW development like data modeling, ETL etc.

Right now we use Netezza and Informatica Powercenter, but very soon we will shift to development of a new EDW based on Data Vault 2.0 and Wherescape all build in Microsoft Azure.

Your responsibilities

  • Development of data warehouse solution primarily on the backend side

  • Being part of a SAFe domain of 80+ people (10 teams) located in Roskilde and Warsaw. We all work with BI, DW and Data Governance. We have worked agile using the SAFe framework for 3 years now

  • Delivering solutions to our customers - other development domains in BEC but also many of the banks and other financial partners

  • The domain is responsible for all the platforms and tools related to BI & DW in BEC: Netezza, PowerCenter, Business Objects, SAS, Power BI etc. We also drive the data governance around data quality, linage, masterdata, data modeling and more.

  • We are very close to start migrating the first BI&DW solution into Azure

Our requirements

  • Master’s degree, preferably in Finance or IT

  • Experience as a backend data warehouse developer

  • Data modeling (EDW; Dimensional modeling)

  • ETL

  • General database knowledge (Performance optimization, design etc)

  • Extra bonus if you know Data Vault 2.0, Wherescape and Microsoft Azure

  • Fluent in English - written as well as oral

  • Best-practices focused and value-oriented

  • Team player focused on collaboration

  • Presenting a strong focus on quality, business value, and making things happen

  • Lean/Agile mindset


  • Knowledge from large DW DBMS installations

  • Knowledge of test data management, data masking, GDPR and similar

  • Experience from financial institutions and knowledge of compliance will be an advantage
