    Your tasks:

    • Administering the MS SQL Server and databases
    • Managing updates and releases
    • Ensuring data security, integrity and consistency
    • Planning and management of data backups
    • Tuning performance of servers and databases
    • Monitoring and managing ETL processes
    • Solving problems and incidents
    • Designing and implementing complex solutions based on a MS SQL Server
    • Cooperation with the QA team and programmers to optimize the use of the database
    • Help with implementation of Big Data / Timeseries solutions
    • Developing procedures for change management
    • Maintaining documentation

    Our requirements:

    • Very good knowledge of English (Polish is not mandatory)
    • Higher education
    • At least 5 years of experience in administering MS SQL Server databases on the Windows platform
    • Experience in administering database servers located in AWS (or other cloud solution)
    • Experience in maintaining / developing systems based on distributed architecture (over 5,000 edge clients) is welcome
    • Experience in High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions (DB Mirroring / Always-On / Clusters / Replication)
    • Very good knowledge of SQL (T-SQL)
    • Ability to optimize the efficiency of SQL queries, procedures and functions
    • Advanced ability to use tools for administration and monitoring of the MS SQL database server
    • Experience in administering and implementing Big Data / Timeseries databases is welcome
    • Active MS SQL Server certificates are welcome
