    We are looking for a DB/ETL Developer, that will join our highly regarded and global Product Control IT Team, with Wroclaw branch currently employing 30+ people. Our Team’s skillset includes business analysis, data science, programming in various languages (e.g. Python, Java, VBA), quality assurance, test management and beyond.

    Your main scope of responsibilities will be:

    • You will collaborate with Analysts and other internal teams to understand requirements and implement, document and test the resulting solution to agreed target dates.
    • You will dedicatedly apply solutions to cater for non-functional requirements including stability, capacity, scalability and manageability.
    • You will conduct data and solution analysis for business data needs and make recommendations for viable solutions.
    • You will participate in the rotations to cover production release cycles, UAT support and other ad-hoc activities like code review, issues troubleshooting etc.

    You have solid and proven practical experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in Oracle 11g or higher: building PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views and Exception handling for retrieving, manipulating, checking and migrating complex data sets in Oracle.

    • You have working knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica preferred): design, develop and modify workflows and mappings.
    • You have hands-on experience with full development lifecycle in an agile methodology (incl. test driven development, continuous integration, change and release management) is a strong plus.
    • You have deep knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.

    Highly desirable skills and experience:

    • Use of job scheduling or job execution software, e.g., Control-M.
    • You have experience with TDD.
    • You have experience in tuning mappings, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in various levels like sources, targets, mappings, and sessions.
    • You have experience in automated testing.
