About the project

IT Operations Competence Center has over 300 specialists. The team supports clients in four main areas: Service Desk, IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and ServiceNow. Our projects include over 270,000 users in 2,300 different locations.

Your responsibilities

Administering database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation
Maintaining the functional capabilities of the databases
Monitoring of system statuses and availability

Our requirements

Very good knowledge of DB2 LUW on RedHat Linux systems
Good knowledge of DB2 z/OS on Mainframe
Good knowledge of covering database setup, configuration, backup, restore, patching, database upgrades, downgrades, performance tuning, corresponding client software connections, z/OS to LUW crossloads, JCL, ISPF, IWS Scheduler
Team player in an international team
Knowledge and experience working with collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
Knowledge of German language (written and spoken) would be a plus
