About the assignment

As a team member of the Regional Sales & Marketing Team, you will be responsible for Demand Control processes within Polish entities and directly reporting to Customer Demand Manager CEER. Main purpose of this position is to lead support for business activities, improve financial performance, and secure sufficient stock coverage for every activity planned. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Producing accurate and detailed forecasts in order to contribute to Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process through analyses of sales in past periods, events influencing sales, e.g. seasonality, promotions, competitors activities, etc.
    • gathering market data from sales, marketing and trade-marketing teams to predict future demand requirements and overlaying external factors,
    • defining and evaluating volumes of opportunities and vulnerabilities underlying current demand plans,
    • feeding the forecast into the relevant systems.
  • Leading regular meetings, like Commercial Review – monthly, Demand Control – weekly, Demand Review – monthly upon agreement with Sales and Marketing team.
  • Supporting the IBP team with required data, reports and analyses.
  • Challenging the assumptions used in the sales forecast in order to facilitate correct business decisions and improve future performance.
  • Maintaining close relations with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to elaborate effective decision-making process based on forecast numbers.
  • Maintaining material SAP Master Data in terms of Life Cycle.

About you

  • Experience in constructing and maintaining forecasts.
  • Previous exposure to Supply Chain management.
  • Process-driven to deliver incremental business efficiencies.
  • Advanced Excel skills. 
  • Numerate, analytical, and results-oriented approach. 
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, internally & externally.
  • Fluent English & Polish language proficiency.  
  • Knowledge of SAP and APO & BI systems would be a great asset.
