Your responsibilities
Preparation of detailed 3D models using SolidWorks 3D
Preparation all required specifications and guide drawings based on data sheets
Lead Engineer activities (planning, tracking)
Interdisciplinary coordination
Close exchange with vendors: inquiries, technical negotiations
Inspection and expediting at vendor workshops
Site activities
Our requirements
Ready to take challenges on innovative mechanical designs
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar
Min. 5 years of experiences in the design of pressure vessels
Experience in design/ fabrication for static equipment, including reactors and heat exchangers
Familiarity with established design codes (e.g. ASME Sect VIII, AD 2000 and/or EN-13445)
Developed skills in CAD 2D/3D of pressure equipment, preferably in Solidworks
Experience in welding - International welding expert is preferred
English fluent

Air Liquide Engineering & Construction (AL E&C) builds the Air Liquide Group’s production units, which are mainly air separation, hydrogen, methanol and syngas production units. It provides external customers with efficient, sustainable, tailormade technology and process solutions. This means that we enable our customers to optimize their usage of natural resources, based on our core expertise in industrial gases, energy conversion and gas purification. Mission and Responsibilities
The Designer/ Lead Engineer for Mechanical Equipment is part of an international team of experts and is responsible for the whole life cycle of Proprietary Equipment of Lurgi Technologies, starting from the development of a mechanical design via the manufacturing up to after sales services.
Based on patented and innovative solutions, such as Air Liquide’s Autothermal Reformer (ATR), Partial Oxidation Reactor (POx) or its Sulfur Recovery Units (Lurgi OxyClaus™) for customers worldwide, this position is at the forefront of AL E&C. Unique and benchmark-setting equipment design are one of the key pillars that brought AL E&C to its current market position, where you are going to have a chance to shape the future of it!
Embedded in a motivated and agile team, that comprises various competencies like computational experts or materials engineering specialists, this position acts also in close collaboration with Lurgi Technology teams, Air Liquide’s R&D centers and other engineering disciplines.
By this, you are going to perform as an enabler for Air Liquide’s technology leadership in the hydrogen driven energy transition and to reduce the CO2 footprint of chemical plants of Air Liquide and its customers.
