DESKTOP PUBLISHER
location: WARSAW (remote)
Numer ref.: JO-0000-0000We are looking for Desktop Publishers and Senior Desktop Publishers.
Responsibilities:
- Formatting and preparing content for translators and localizators;
- Formatting and preparing translated files for clients;
- Creating different language versions of source documents;
- Recreating source files based on PDFs;
- Creating manuals and project documentation;
- Ensuring the highest qualities of final products;
- Conducting trainings for less-experienced employees;
- Cooperating with tech leads;
- E-Learning related activities at Senior role.
Requirements:
- Fluent English (min. B2)
- At least 1 year of working experience as DTP Specialist, preferable in Translation/Localization company.
- Working knowledge of some of these tools: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, FrameMaker, ABBYY FineReader;
- Analytical skills and orientation to details;
- Microsoft Office skills.
Nice to have:
- E-Learning: Articulate Storyline or Lector knowledge & skills;
- HTML or CSS knowledge;
- FrameMaker knolwledge;
- Regular expressions knowledge;
- Trados/Workspace knowledge.
