We are seeking for a experienced professional for a position of Development and Construction Director.

For our Client - a rapidly growing PRS fund - we are seeking for a position for Development and Construction Director.

Description

• Support investment team in terms of development projects acquisition
• Responsible for technical terms negotiations (scope, budgets, standards, ESG/sustainability)
• Selection of third party consultancy providers
• Supervision of the development process
• Engage external partners to supervise construction, budget, scope and special topics (e.g.,LEED)
• Providing updates on project progress, escalating and proactively recommending solutions
• Defining completion documentation requirements and reporting needs
• Supervise fit-out projects (developer or internal process)

Profile

• Technical background education ideally within Civil Engineering
• At least 10 years of experience within development/project management area (preferably in residential or hospitality sector)
• Strong technical expertise within development and construction process
• Previous experience working on General Contractor and developer side
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively engage varying stakeholders (e.g. developers, consultants, sub-contractors, internal team)
• Fluency in English
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to combine technical expertise with commercial acumen
