Your responsibilities

  • You will be the contact person for the Product Owner to receive business requirements and transform them into technical concepts,

  • You will be giving technical guidance for the development team of the stream in reviewing work packages,

  • You will be in the loop of all activities related to the streams,

  • You will be a contact person for developers to address technical and conceptual challenges and help them in solving those,

  • You will help out and support in development tasks where required (Hands on),

  • Taking responsibility for development and requirements engineering of eBike’s Big Data applications work streams,

  • Being proactive, supportive and open for new approaches,

  • Bringing in your own ideas for technical and process enhancements,

  • Understanding full chain of development events, processes & tools,

  • Conducting Code Reviews of respective stream development.

Our requirements

  • Proven Big Data Engineering expertise,

  • Proficiency in Python and Hadoop Ecosystem is required,

  • Experience in constructing data pipelines (ELT and ETL) and establishing streaming approaches (e.g. Kafka),

  • Experience with CI/CD, GitFlow, Release- and Change management,

  • Experience with AWS Big Data services,

  • Knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle,

  • Experience in writing technical documentation (Process design, Data Flows),

  • Experience in working in agile environment,

  • English B2.
