About the project

Together with our internal customer, Robert Bosch Global Real Estate (GR), we are driving the digital transformation of the operation, steering, and planning of buildings. You will support them by developing, implementing, and providing a stable and available IT solution through its products, services, interfaces, and IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for connecting a Computer-Aided Facility Management system (SaaS) with the Robert Bosch Real Estate IT infrastructure.

Your responsibilities

Build the future:

• As the Development Lead for Software Integration, you are responsible for the complete technical development, coordination, operation, and implementation of a worldwide solution, including the plan, build, deploy, run, migration, and phase-out of solutions such as Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) resp. Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS).

• Additionally, you are responsible for adapting and deploying existing APIs to integrate a SaaS product (Archibus) into our existing software landscape.

• You will also participate in tier 3 IT solution support activities, including incident management and the assessment and delivery of application upgrades and patches.

• You will guide your technical team to develop and deliver the appropriate technologies, building blocks, products, and services for the IT solution.

• In the solution team, you will work closely with an enterprise architect, solution manager, IT product/service owners, and business team members.

• Furthermore, you will consult with the solution manager and business team members to expand, enrich, and optimize the IT solution.

Be part of a great team:

• You lead a development team to provide a scalable, future-proof IT solution.

• You consult regarding technical feasibility evaluation of solution backlog items.

• You provide IT solution availability, stability and scalability.

• You are responsible for development and implementation of new services with technical support and security concept, setup and maintenance of the infrastructure.

• You are in close contact with product and service teams and coordinate upgrades.

• You establish and maintain connections to other systems.

• You have experience in testing coordination, management, and documentation.

Our requirements

  • Education: study degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • Experience: Professional experience with implementation and operation of IT solutions, products, services and interfaces. Capable of documenting. Experience in data integration with APIs (e.g., SAP and non-SAP) and preferable technical know-how with a CAFM / IWMS Solution on the market.

  • Expertise: At least five years of professional experience in developing and delivering software products or software solutions to customers, IT service conception, development and implementation, operation of applications, interfaces and IT infrastructure.

  • Personality: Intercultural communication skills, passion for diversity and heterogeneous teams. Entrepreneurial thinking and enthusiasm, solution-oriented working method and agile mindset.

  • Technologies: REST, SOAP, Solance, IDOC, BAPI, Tomcat, Oracle, MS SQL, Java Open JDK, Azure

  • Languages: Fluent in English, German is a plus.
