Your responsibilities
- Leading a growing group of agile software development teams in various geographic locations
- Supporting technical team leads in solving problems and issues and be a voice for the team within Wolters Kluwer
- Coaching and supporting growth of team leads as well as team members
- Balancing teams between QE, development and seniority levels
- Working closely with Product Owners, businesses and aligning the development teams with the business and your peers, the DSS Technical Project Manager and the Solution Architect
- Structuring teams in order to achieve business priorities
Our requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field would be preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in leading development teams, preferably in a nearshoring setup
- Diverse IT experience on positions such as Developer, Lead Developer, Scrum Master
- Background in software engineering
- Experience in product development with cross-functional teams
- Independent, pragmatic, positive and pro-active work attitude
- Experience in aligning different software development teams and solving dependencies and impediments
- Experience with full software development lifecycle including secure software development and continuous integration and delivery
- Comfortable working in a distributed, internationally diverse environment with technical and business colleagues
- Good verbal and written English
- A collaborative team player ready to take on the lead role when needed but prefers a servant leadership
- A self-starter who inspires and motivates his team members
- Can do approach, growth-oriented mindset with eagerness to navigate new territories
