Development Team Leader

As a Technology and Team leader, you will be providing a team of engineers and testers with the guidance and leadership they need to meet the schedule and product roadmap of the Precisely Data Team. It will be your responsibility to plan, organize and lead the team daily, helping it to stay focused on the tasks ahead while simultaneously ensuring that technology decisions are thoughtfully made and implementable. The technology team at Precisely leverages Amazon Web Services as its primary processing infrastructure. Within that framework most of the work leverages a combination of massive Elastic Search databases for document and object storage as well as PostGRES Relational Database Service (RDS) instances for more fine-tuned processing. All access and processing is accomplished using proprietary restful APIs and Java/Kotlin SDKs. In this role, you will be expected to fully understand the technology being used as well as capable of reviewing the work of engineers to ensure all software meets the coding and documentation standards of the company. As this is a technical position, some software development consisting of less than 20% of your time will be expected.
