About the project
On a daily basis, we build and maintain Samsung Private Cloud, the platform for internal company needs. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer responsible for managing the integration of cloud database solutions.
Technologies in use:
• MySQL, Percona Server, MariaDB
• NewSQL database (TiDB)
• Bash, Python, Go
• Git, Jenkins, Docker
Your responsibilities
Integration, maintenance, and monitoring of cloud database storage solutions
Coding automation scripts that deploy, monitor, and deal with failover scenarios
Supporting developers working on infrastructure components
Our requirements
Experience in relational databases (preferably MySQL, MariaDB) administration
Experience in deployment and maintenance of cloud-based distributed systems
Practical knowledge of tools for configuration (e.g. Ansible/ Terraform)
Basic experience in containerization (Docker) and virtualization technologies
Fluency in English
Optional
Knowledge of Amazon Web Services
Knowledge of the security of web applications and services
