About the project
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented DevOps Engineer with strong background in Software Development, Software Engineering, and Automation. The candidate needs to love writing code and solving problems. The candidate needs to be strong in building Automation using Ansible and/or Chef.
You will be part of a strong team of talented Engineers focused on Infrastructure and Data Platform automation and providing IaaS services in Public and Private Cloud Platforms.
Your responsibilities
Automate Public and Private cloud environments by utilizing tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, and Jenkins
Design, Architect, and build automation for Linux and Windows systems
Architect and build automation for Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL database platforms
Configuration Management of servers with Ansible and Chef
Utilize scripting languages such as: ruby, python, bash, and PowerShell for Automation and process improvement
Follow a continuous deployment, continuous integration model for server provisioning and application deployment
Our requirements
Experience in Agile Software Development using Automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform and/or Chef
Solid working knowledge of Unix-based systems
Good experience in writing and managing software code and Version Control (Git)
2+ Years in writing code using Python and/or Bash
2+ Years working with containerization using Docker and/or Kubernetes
Good knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and/or Oracle
Well versed in working with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced DevOps team
Excellent written and oral English communications skills
Optional
Building Infrastructure-as-code for Public Cloud
Good knowledge of Linux Administration
Knowledge of building automation using AWX
Experience supporting cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services
Experience with multiple scripting/programming languages including Ruby and PowerShell
Certification in Ansible or Chef
Certification in AWS or Kubernetes
