About the project

Come and join our newly created R&D team within Vaillant Group structures in Poland. You will have opportunity to work on IoT platform with microservices architecture, to build our Smart home solutions and more!

Your responsibilities

Help build and maintain a highly scalable and available environment for our applications based on AKS, Kafka, and MongoDB

Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with Github workflows

Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and system issues using Grafana, Prometheus and ELK stack, provide solutions that ensure high availability, scalability, resilience, and security

Develop a load testing framework based on k6 to ensure the platform is performing as desired

Manage and automate infrastructures as code using tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt is also part of your role

Advise on the selection of appropriate technologies for the development of new features and services

Collaborate with other development teams to ensure that infrastructure and application code are aligned

Our requirements

  • Successfully completed bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field, you have the necessary tools of the trade

  • At least 1 year of experience developing and deploying cloud-based infrastructure using Kubernetes, Azure, and AKS

  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch

  • Very good scripting skills in one or more languages such as Python, Bash, or Go and understanding of DevOps principles and practices

  • Your communication and collaboration skills and fluency in English allow you to communicate confidently at all levels

  • Experience with load testing is a plus
