About the project
We are currently looking for Devops Engineers for the BigFix Inventory product team in Krakow, located at O3 Business Campus on Opolska street. We are looking for talented, self-motivated and curious people with good programming skills that feel great in an unconventional environment, people who like to get thoroughly involved in inclusive and open-minded team-work in a dynamic, multicultural organization with advanced processes.
Your responsibilities
• Setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for the product
• Setting up and maintaining product test and beta virtualized environments
• Contributing to any process improvements to optimize the software life-cycle and maximize the team’s productivity
• Contributing to test automation, troubleshooting product's issues
Our requirements
Qualifications
• University degree in Computer Science, Technology or Engineering
• Proven experience in DevOps or QA related tasks with track record of successful projects in this role
• Experience in performing problem determination & root cause analysis
• Strong analytical ability
Required Technical Skills
• Docker / Kubernetes, including setting up environments and preparing images
• Virtualization technologies like: VMWare, Hyper-V, Xen, KVM
• TCP/IP networks administration
• PKI, HTTP, SSL/TLS
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (e.g. Jenkins)
• Good knowledge of at least one language: Java, Python, PowerShell, Linux shell scripts
• OS administration (Linux and Windows)
• Relational databases/SQL (MS SQL, IBM DB2) installation and administration
• Java application servers installation and administration
• Distributed version control systems and project management tools (GIT, or similar)
• Defect management tracking tools (JIRA, Rational Team Concert or similar)
• Agile development methodologies

• Experience in performing problem determination & root cause analysis
• Strong analytical ability
• Dedicated to continual self-development
• Good team player
• Ability to collaborate with geographically distributed cross-functional teams
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Fluent written and spoken English
