About the project

Information about the squad:

We are the Linux squad in the constantly developing ING Private Cloud Area. As a part of our team you will be providing our consumers with a secure and stable RedHat Enterprise

Linux stack, on which they can build their applications. Team is also responsible for development and maintenance of internal package manager.

At ING Hubs Poland we follow the Agile approach, using flexible frameworks like Scrum and Kanban at our everyday work.

We are innovative, we trust people we work with and our employees have a broad autonomy. Small units called squads are the core of our organization. Based on team cooperation squads work out the most flexible and effective way of working.

Your responsibilities

  • supporting clients

  • creating documentation

  • development-related tasks

  • ‘Infrastructure as code’ related tasks

  • maintenance of existing functionalities

Our requirements

  • You have programming experience in one or both of the following languages: Python, Go

  • You have working knowledge of Ansible, Git, Docker

  • You have background in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions

  • You have experience in an enterprise Linux environment (RedHat preferred)

  • You are familiar with SCRUM methodology (sprint planning, review, retro)

  • You are fluent in English

  • You have good communication skills - ability to clearly express ideas, facts and opinions. Fluency in speaking and writing

  • You are focused on completing tasks and achieving results in an efficient timely and high-quality manner

  • English level - B2

Optional

  • Experience with containers orchestration solutions: Kubernetes, (Openshift/AKS)

  • Experience with monitoring tools: Grafana, InfluxDB, Telegraf

  • Working knowledge of ‘Infrastructure as Code’ products like Terraform

  • Deep knowledge of DevOps way of working (e.g., continuous delivery, cross-functional team set-ups, development of cross-skilled squad members)

  • High level of adaptability - you are open to change and you work effectively when faced with new information or changing situation and/or technology
