About the project
The DevOps Specialist within the business unit “Technology Solutions Center” is responsible for supporting and maintaining applications in modern cloud environments, taking into account the latest technological developments.
This role interlinks IT Development and IT Operations while automating the process of software delivery and deployment.
Your responsibilities
- Deploys and maintains infrastructure in cloud environment (e.g. AWS RDS databases)
- Develops and maintains the build scripts and pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
- Application performance monitoring
- Support in moving legacy applications into a cloud environment
- Maintaining containerized applications
- Researches latest tools and methodologies to provide ideal and optimal solutions
- Utilizes DevOps principles & tools to devise work strategies for development, testing and operations IT
- Creation and maintenance of strategies to avoid risks and disaster recovery
Our requirements
- At least 2 years of experience on similar position
- Experience with build, control, integration, automation and orchestration tools
- Experience with cloud computing and orchestration
- Experience in following technologies and areas: Linux/Unix, SQL Databases (preferably Oracle or Postgres), Web security, Scripting language (Bash, Ruby, Perl, Python or other), Git, Maven build automation, Java (or other object oriented programming language), Cloud platform experience (e.g. Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure), Terraform
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Customer and service orientation
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across diverse organizations, groups and functions
- Flexible thinker able to operate in a changing environment
- Fluent Business English (written and spoken)
- Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
