About the project

Our client is a leading company specializing in global financial services for B2C and B2B customers. They created a multi-channel transactional software to provide brokers with asset execution and various trading tools. Using the newest technology, scale and experience allows them to fully control transactions with clients. Their innovative and responsible approach makes the infrastructure a stable place of transaction flow in the industry.

Your responsibilities

  • To be part of DevOps team and participate in development cycles;

  • To monitor the system and services;

  • To immediately respond to any alert;

  • To be responsible for the operation side of the team regarding back-office and on-line platforms;

  • To collaborate with Tier 2, 3rd parties, suppliers for technical escalations, clients and management;

  • To provide support service for internal client and B2B clients;

  • To provide technology evaluations and research;

  • To build automated deployments using configuration management technology.

Our requirements

  • Solid background in Linux/Unix Administration and strong understanding of networking;

  • Understanding of code and scripts (Bash, Python);

  • Strong experience with cloud services (AWS preferred);

  • Experience organizing configuration as code and infrastructure (Ansible, Chef, Puppet or an equivalent);

  • Experience working with development pipelines (Bamboo, Jenkins or similar tools);

  • Working knowledge and experience running PostgreSQL and/or MySQL databases in production, configuration, backup-restore operations and covering basic installation;

  • Experience in customer relationship management (at various levels);

  • Advanced English.

Optional

  • Experience in projects for the development, implementation and support of trade and financial systems;

  • Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence;

  • Experience with Docker and related orchestration;

  • Experience working in a global, multilingual organization.

Location: Remotely/Warsaw (hybrid work)

Salary: up to 7000 EURO + VAT monthly
