About the project
We are seeking a bright, self-motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team. This position will be responsible for the migration of existing third party Azure infrastructure into Customer’s Azure Corporate Account. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for build-out, configuration, deploy, scale, orchestration, and monitoring in supporting infrastructure and our release pipeline for global commercial software platforms.
You are eager to learn new diverse tools and technologies. Candidate must be comfortable with Infrastructure as Code, continuous integration and deployment, observability best practice and vulnerability management.
Your responsibilities
Building Azure infrastructure
Automate and streamlining of our infrastructure, operations, and deployment processes.
Champion for infrastructure as code.
Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity.
Mentor team on technology, process improvement and other work-related aspects.
Drive innovation and adaption of best practices.
Tools and automation-based monitoring of production environments to provide proactive alerts on system health and reliability.
Expert level background in Linux administration.
Good background in Windows administration.
Has current knowledge of technology landscape and developments
Troubleshooting and resolving root cause issues in our dev, test and production internal and cloud environments.
Senior member of DevOps Team member role in on time, high quality delivery of products thru the entire application lifecycle.
Our requirements
Degree in Computer Science or relevant real-world experience
4+ years of experience building enterprise DevOps pipelines in a commercial environment
At least 8+ years of IT experience
Expert in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Proven experience in Azure & AWS
Bash/PowerShell Scripting
Azure DevOps
Terraform
Ansible
Containerisation and Orchestration
Serverless experience is beneficial
