About the project
Our team works on a collection of modern, reliable solutions based on Kubernetes and common public Cloud Service Providers. We specialize in cloud-based service development from business analysis, through project evaluation, to UI/UX, Frontend and Backend design and implementation.
In this role, you will collaborate with Product Owners, data scientists, system architects, UX researchers and other experienced professionals to solve technical challenges.
Your responsibilities
Build, maintain and manage the infrastructure for various services
Perform system administration activities across cloud-hosted servers and applications
Respond to alerts to provide coverage of critical issues
Plan and execute changes to development, staging, and production systems
Ensure the security of managed systems and related data
Participate in out-of-office on-call rotation in follow-the-sun model
Our requirements
2+ years’ relevant commercial experience
Strong Linux and command line skills
Experience in network, service and application monitoring
Deep expertise in troubleshooting complex distributed systems
Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes
Experienced in setting up monitoring and logging needs for cloud platforms
Experience working with AWS, GCP or other public cloud providers
Experience working with databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB
Experience with CI/CD tooling similar to ArgoCD, CircleCI, Jenkins, Git
Experience with REST API and microservices
Optional
Familiarity with some of the following programming languages including but not limited to Go, Python
Familiarity with Kafka, Rook/Ceph
Experience working with large databases running on MongoDB, PostgreSQL
Experience working with large InfluxDB databases
Experience with performance aspects of cloud platform and application architectures
