About the project
DevOps Engineer at Objectivity is responsible for verifying, advise, and help developer teams in the implementation of a process, as well as provide support in choosing appropriate solutions
Your responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and improve tools and processes used to build, release and deploy our software products.
- Advise development teams on application architecture and infrastructure.
- Share best practices with regards to CI/CD among our development community.
Our requirements
- Knowledge of Terraform.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (Azure DevOps) based on work experience.
- Knowledge of Git and Git Workflows.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash).
- English (min. B2).
- Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Optional
- Monitoring tools (both non-cloud, or cloud-related)
- Cloud architecture patterns (I.e., Azure-based, AWS, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud)
- Orchestration tools (i.e. Kubernetes, Mesos, or Docker Swarm)
- Infrastructure as a code (i.e., ARM Templates, Terraform, or Cloud formation)
- Configuration management (i.e., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)

The type of contract shall depend on the actual rules of cooperation established between us during the recruitment process.

Our potential projects:
For a big consulting company (50k employees), that will use this solution for its clients. Our scope is to choose and create tools and procedures, that will allow them to build Landing Zones on Azure and migrate existing workloads. Landing zones need to be created considering organizational structure of the client, compliance constraints, environment requirements and type of workloads. Migration of workloads will take place from on-prem and clouds other than Azure.
We are still in the design phase and do follow practices available in Azure CAF and WAF, be aware of compliance standards and try to focus on low time to market. Sooner you join you will have bigger impact on overall solution and be able to cooperate with architects and devops involved.
Technology stack: Azure service, Terraform, Ansible, Github enterprise, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Smartbear testing tools, Synopsys software analysis tools.
