Your responsibilities

  • You will deliver and implement Orpheus solutions alongside with our McKinsey consulting teams and at times, directly with clients.

  • This will include working on spend cube development, spend analysis, category analytics solution and other digital procurement related assets deliveries. You will build working and domain knowledge for project deliveries and manage the solution usage. As a Solution Delivery Analyst at Orpheus you will contribute to analytics support and deliver key insights on procurement focused topics like spend analysis, procurement saving /opportunity identification, under guidance of more senior colleagues. During project execution, you’ll closely work with technical team members for data connections and data processing.

  • You will be driving categorizations and supplier line of business identification for raw spend data grouping into category tree like UNSPSC etc. During project delivery, you will be doing reporting and KPI identification to create spend data output visualizations.

  • You will deliver and support training of visual output dashboards to client teams and clients to share key insights from procurement analytics. You’ll ensure project quality and timely outputs.

  • You will contribute to operation improvements in existing solutions and contribute in building out our own proprietary Digital Procurement asset solutions.

  • You will contribute in identifying new technologies, trends, or alternative vendors for us to work with.

  • You will ensure digital procurement assets, vendors, and processes adhere to our standards and that client information and data is safeguarded to the utmost level. You will deliver cutting edge knowledge related to the solution asset domain and will support the development and maintenance of capabilities including assets, knowledge, tools, fact packs, case studies, primers.

Our requirements

  • Up to 3 years of relevant professional work experience with analytics firm in the field of procurement and/or product cost optimization and/or business intelligence and/or Advanced Analytics

  • Master`s degree required

  • Good understanding of purchasing, procurement processes, sourcing and savings opportunity identification OR good understanding of data analytics building reporting in BI systems, such as Tableau, PowerBI or Qlik

  • Strong proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint

  • SQL, Alteryx exposure will be added advantage

  • Solid problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in English

  • Willingness to travel (~20% of time)
