Your responsibilities

Do you have a practical experience of designing and building medium-sized IT Infrastructure environments?

Are you able to discuss with the Business to understand their requirements and select/build solutions that will deliver according to their requirements?

Are you able to MOVE FAST and adjust your solution on the fly as needed?

We are looking for Senior and mid-level Engineers, who feel comfortable with the concept of Zero Trust Networks, on-prem solutions and are specialized in Digital Workplace Services and Delivery.

As part of the Project Team (GSC – NSC IT Infrastructure) you’ll be responsible to define, design and implement a Digital Workplace setup supporting a part of Eurofins’ Shared Services covering 4k employees and around 60 various locations. So your hands-on experience in both BUILD and RUN is what we’re after.

You’ll be working with other, highly qualified Application/Cloud/Network Engineers, in a small, cross-functional, specific deliverables oriented Team.

A big advantage of the role is that you’ll use your expertise, but working in such setup you’ll have an end to end understanding and influence on what’s being built.

Responsibilities

As part of the GSC – NSC IT Infrastructure team you will support and execute strategic and transformational initiatives, such as:

• The segregation execution program

• • The implementation and design of the different segregated zones (IT User Zones)

Supporting the segregation of the different in scope solutions (IT Application Availability Groups)

Main activities, but not limited to, are:

• Designing, building, testing and implementation of the modern workplace technologies in an enterprise environment

• Maintain service delivery in collaboration with other IT teams and according to defined processes (e.g. Incident Management and Change Management)

• Deliver quality documentation: procedures and work instructions

• Improve existing processes through sustainable solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions by automation

• Ensure that the services comply with the set policies and standards and meet the agreed SLA’s

Specific Assignments:

• Work together with the solutions teams on the solutions designs for the different Application Availability Groups (AAGs)

• Support the end user and end device migration activities into the new zones

Our requirements

  • Experience in Office 365 environments including implementation of Exchange, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and SharePoint

  • Experience with Desktop deployments and rollouts, upgrading to latest Windows clients, SCCM & Intune

  • Good understanding of cloud concepts and Microsoft’s Azure cloud

  • Experience and understanding of workplace security with Microsoft EMS E3/E5 suite

  • Active Directory / Azure Active Directory

  • Exchange / Exchange Online

  • SharePoint / SharePoint Online

  • Intune / SCCM

  • Azure Advanced Threat Protection

  • Azure Information Protection

  • Cloud App Security

  • Advanced Threat Analytics

  • Windows Defender

  • A collaborative team player

  • Very good English command

  • Ability to read, understand and create technical documentation of the delivered solutions

Optional

  • Azure design at enterprise level

  • Service Endpoints/Private Endpoints

  • Experience with supplemental technologies such as migration tools associated with the modern workplace technologies

  • Good understanding of security such as PKI and certificates

  • Skills and experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, and various scripting tools
