Your responsibilities

  • The role of Director of Compliance & ERM is to assure sufficient internal policies and systems of control to attain compliance with externally-imposed regulations and to manage the risk agenda for all the Medicover Healthcare Services business units and legal entities in Poland, with opportunity for the role expansion to other countries in the future.The main areas of responsibility of Compliance & ERM Director will be to assure corporate governance compliance, including GDPR compliance and overall enterprise risk management.A person holding this role will collaborate closely with local business heads, head of insurance risk management, head of medical compliance, head of internal audit and the Medicover Group Compliance Officer. The position reports directly to Medicover Healthcare Services Chief Operations Officer.

  • Revising and improving the existing enterprise risk management framework, policies and management system for all businesses

  • Providing support for business units in revision of risk agendas and business continuity plans

  • Leading the agenda and work-process of the Medicover Healthcare Services Risk Committee

  • Collaborating with the Medicover Group Risk Committee and adequate other committees

  • Cooperating with the Medicover Group Compliance Office to assure that the group corporate governance polices are implemented in a timely and effective manner

  • Liaising with internal and external auditors to address main risk identified by process assessment audits

  • Managing the GDPR function to assure compliance of personal data protection

  • Assuring sufficient systems are in place for managing access to personal data, as well as procedures to resolve any incidents

  • Raising business risk and data protection awareness across the entire organization

  • Managing a team of passionate people

Our requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant and progressive experience in managing compliance and enterprise risk function in the multinational company; experience within medical, healthcare or insurance related industry will be an added value

  • Experience in supervising and establishing the compliance and ERM process and frameworks

  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, as well as the ability to maintain productive interactions with a diversified portfolio of stakeholders

  • Able to adapt to dynamic and changing environment and to manage complexity

  • Strong project management skills

  • Fluency in English is a must (level C1)
