Your responsibilities
You will be part of a Team engaged in development, implementation and management of a holistic, Group-wide strategy with a focus on freedom from discrimination in accordance with the Group and human rights strategy by deriving overarching goals, declaration of principles and relevant guidelines for LHG on the basis of legal framework conditions, stakeholder requirements (e.g. customer and financial market requirements) and industry developments/standards in the assigned area of responsibility
As an expert, you will be responsible for screening, evaluation and management of upcoming national and international regulations with regard to freedom from discrimination
Taking care of avoidance of (legal) risks with a financial or reputational impact
Processing legislation, voluntary commitments, industrial standards
Identificating of potential risks and measures
Focusing on risk-based review of the regional anchoring of the developed guidelines and the effectiveness of prevention and remedial measures through audits in the assigned area of responsibility
Contribution to Group-wide non-financial reporting on the topics of employee matters and human rights due diligence and external stakeholder survey to derive the materiality analysis required under commercial law in the assigned area of responsibility
Preparation of partial aspects and briefing for various internal committees
Planning, monitoring and reporting the budget for the assigned task area
Execution of all business activities in the area of responsibility within the framework of the relevant guidelines
Work closely with various departments and business units as an experienced partner in the field
Our requirements
University degree in economics or business law (or similar)
Several years of relevant professional experience
Good knowledge of international labour law or equal opportunities/diversity
Result-oriented, interdisciplinary and cross-company thinking and acting
Strong communication skills, representation skills, presentation skills
Experience in stakeholder management and representation of interests at national and international level
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking; Creativity; Ability to represent
Strong planning, coordination and scheduling skills; decision-making ability
Strong flexibility and initiative
Knowledge of the aviation industry will be an asset
English: fluent
Willingness to travel
