E-commerce Strategy Team Lead

Our Client offers comprehensive eCommerce services, ranging from strategic and consulting support, through managing, auditing and optimizing brand content across platforms of the world’s most important online retailers (Amazon, Walmart), to running paid media campaigns and activations across eCommerce platforms and retail SEO, Web/Mobile dev/ops and content maintenance across brands’ web platforms, UX and web design.

 

As eCommerce Strategy Team Lead you will be crafting long-term eCommerce strategy for our top global clients. By taking on this role you will have an opportunity to work on multinational projects with an amazing, international team of eCommerce experts.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day team management (2 – 5 eCommerce Strategists).
  • Support and supervision of eCommerce strategy executions among team members.
  • Workload management of the team, with cooperation with Client Service and Project Management teams.
  • Definition and development of strategic frameworks and processes on global and local level – global?
  • Strong cooperation with internal Agency teams (Client Service, Project Management, eMerchandising, Design & Copywriting Teams) in crafting strategic products and operational solutions for the clients.
  • Knowledge-sharing and constant lookout for innovations within eCommerce and digital landscape.
  • Active participation in client-facing meetings, representing strategic products, thought leadership and supporting Client Service in delivering business goals across accounts.

 

Requirements:

  • Have experience in team management
  • Have expertise in consumer decision journey and digital marketing strategies
  • Be familiar with the most important global E-commerce trends & challenges
  • Be a master storyteller, keen to share your knowledge with your colleagues, clients and external audiences
  • Be a team player, excited to cooperate and learn with your colleagues
  • Have great organizational skills and proven ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Be proficient in spoken and written English
  • Be constantly curious to understand consumers, eCommerce and the complexities of the ever-changing digital landscape

 

Desired experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in handling eCommerce either on the client’s, agency’s or service provider’s side.
  • Experience in team management.
  • International working experience (ie. close cooperation with foreign stakeholders or business partners).
  • Knowledge of marketing strategy frameworks and ability to adjust them to the problem at hand.
