About the project

Ecommerce Data Analyst navigates complex data to extract complete and accurate insights supporting strategic and operational business decisions. He/She works closely with Product Owners and eCommerce developers to enhance tracking implementation. An important part of the role is to be SPOC for business stakeholders and to understand and assess the need and liaise with other data development teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Performs analysis on existing customer, transactional and web data and identifies business opportunities and challenges;

  • Manages full analysis cycle – from gathering the business requirements, through data analysis and presenting conclusions until influencing others on the execution of new strategy in the business;

  • Develops a thorough understanding of business goals and issues, interprets business needs into data and analytical requirements, and then to analytical/reporting solutions;

  • Provides recommendations for business partners based on analyzed data;

  • Designs measuring plan and utilize Google Tag Manager to implement events;

  • Manages GA accounts

  • Supports building and executing an A/B testing process;

  • Supports Google Analytics end users;

  • Acts as SPOC for data related topics for eCommerce department;

  • Provides ad-hoc support for projects and initiatives where problem-solving and/or analytical skills are needed;

  • Follows data governance standards;

  • Complies with IT quality policy;

Our requirements

  • Degree in Mathematics, Data Analysis or relevant data field;

  • Fluency in written and spoken English;

  • 2+ years experience working as a data analyst or in similar role;

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, basic knowledge of A/B testing tools;

  • Working knowledge of SQL;

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI);

  • Able to work in cross-functional teams and various level employees;

  • Structured yet agile approach – with knowledge of the scrum agile methodology;

  • Business acumen;

  • Good interpersonal communication skills;
