In a step towards a greener future, we are developing the Control System for our Offshore Wind Turbines, with the goal of a reliable system. To support us in this goal we are using agile methods as well as implementing systems engineering approaches.
How to contribute to our vision
We are a small team responsible for the Electrical Control System Design of our Offshore products as well as the Electromagnetic Compatibility, Lightning Protection and Grounding system of them. To strengthen our Electrical System Design Team, we are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for parts of the technical package from inception through to delivery. You will coordinate and plan the technical activities together with the Product Owner Your will ensure that the solution technically meets all requirements. Problems evolving during design, validation and operation needing technical solutions will also be your responsibility. You will define and agree interfaces with other modules and the WTG platform itself. You will focus on delivering the technical solution balancing time, quality and cost.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for sound Engineering skills in Electrical Design based on an educational background as Electrical Engineer, Master of Technology/Science, or similar with a focus on Low Voltage Design, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. You are systematic in your approach to the work and results oriented, being able to handle several tasks at the same time and communicate with different stakeholders from different design groups, prototype build etc. You are committed to your tasks and able to drive them through to completion. In our global environment we expect you to possess strong communication skills and excellent English skills orally and in writing.
