Your responsibilities

  • Executing development projects according to the HUBER+ SUHNER innovation process.

  • Developing technologies, processes and product concepts in collaboration with product management and strong alignment with strategy & business development.

  • Developing new products and execute technical work packages in the frame of product development projects.

  • Collecting and assessing technical specifications, supporting feasibility studies, customizing or adapting existing products and creating new system concepts.

  • Cooperating with the R&D development team, as well as with other business units, external customers and suppliers or external project and cooperation partners.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor (possibly Master) degree in electrical engineering / system technology or equivalent qualifications.

  • 3+ years work experience as an electrical/system engineer in industries like Medtech or similar.

  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of RF / microwave technology and products (connectors, cable assemblies, antennas, systems).

  • Experience in the application of medical standard ISO 13485 or similar, e.g. FMEA, MSA, SPC, etc.

  • Proven ability of creating commercial technical systems and implementing them in production work streams and ERP systems (SAP, PDM).

  • Good English language skills (written and spoken).
