    Embedded Software Developer (Linux)

    Your Job Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Analyzing and designing concepts of customer software requirements
    • Evaluating and rating solutions (user space programming, programming language, middleware, libraries and frameworks, APIs)
    • Implementing and testing standard solutions
    • Porting, maintaining and testing frameworks, middleware, and libraries (e.g., Qt, OSGi, librmaa)
    • Transmitting drivers, modules, and patches to the Linux community
    • Joint porting and supporting partner solutions
    • Observing and reporting on development of solution approaches in the Linux community

    Your Qualifications and Experience:

    • User space programming in Linux
    • Enthusiasm for new technologies and software development in Linux
    • Interest in the development of open source software
    • Experience working with Debian distributions
    • Experience with cloud services
    • Experience with package managers (including generating your own packages)
    • Experience with hardware abstraction libraries (e.g., librmaa)
    • Java, Javascript, C / C ++, Python, PHP, HTML, Shell script
    • Experience handling git versioning
    • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
    • Good knowledge of spoken and written German is an advantage
    • Quick comprehension
    • Good communication skills
