Your responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation of the EMEA & APAC group’s results in accordance with US GAAP ensuring data is accurately recorded and correctly input in HFM (group consolidation reporting tool)
The above involves working with Corporate Staff and Operating controllers (for whom English is a second language)
Perform Quarterly balance sheet reviews of operating units
Perform monthly balance sheet reviews of consolidated European results
Requires in depth knowledge of operating unit provisions
Weekly/Monthly reporting of Sales, Orders and Backlog
In-depth analysis of actual results versus forecast/budgets ensuring that key operating drivers are understood. Maintaining key customer/product, Line of Business, Tolling and other key Financial statistics
Maintain quarterly certification reporting and compliance
Assist in preparation of data for 10Q/K
Ensure that year end local v US GAAP reconciliations are maintained and review
Provide ad-hoc support to smaller operating units
Other ad-hoc tasks as required to support the Senior European management team and the US Corporate team
Our requirements
Proficient user of Excel essential
3 year experience in consolidation, auditing or controlling – preferably including IFRS or US GAAP reporting
BIG 4 experience welcome
Personal qualification such as ACCA or equivalent is a plus
