Randstad Finance specializes in conducting recruitment projects for managerial and specialist positions in financial, controlling and accountancy sector. EMEA COO control process coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • coordination across EMEA stakeholders to review, consolidate and validate plans and actions for control metric exceptions
  • production and commentary of monthly control packs and metrics pack for Senior Management
  • status management and challenge of control metrics and mitigating actions
  • creation and ownership of various issue management reports including Audit Review Board pack, identification of underlying themes, validation of dashboard and follow-ups to aged items
  • facilitate control issue identification, resolution and escalation on a timely basis
  • coordinates with Cluster COO’s regarding control issues
  • be point of contact for coordination of control metric issues impacting EMEA including Balanced Score Card reporting
  • work closely with the Central Control Team based in Germany to ensure initiatives and queries are addressed on a timely basis

Requirements:

  • able to evidence strong skills around preparation of management information with an eye for data integrity
  • attention to detail in monitoring control timelines and project management milestones
  • flexibility, adaptability and innovation to facilitate project delivery and process improvement within the changing control environment
  • familiarisation with month-end accounting processes / Legal Entity Control
  • strong organisational skills and structured approach to work
  • 1+ year project management experience in a Finance / cross-cultural global organisation
  • control / audit background and / or exposure to control related projects
  • degree level and/or relevant practical experience
  • good communication skills, fluent in English
  • ability to proactively manage and influence stakeholders – chairing meetings, driving agendas, determining risk and issues, documenting and following-up on actions
  • excellent team player, able to work in global virtual teams in a matrix organization
  • ability to work in fast paced environment
  • open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
