Your responsibilities
Serving as a coordinator on EDI assignments. Serving as a Subject Matter Expert in EDI.
Analyzing complex user information flows and needs. Prepares technical documentation.
Initiating and participates in overall process improvements of a functional area.
Formulating project proposals with a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
Acting as a liaison with the business/process owner/ customer and Information Technology to coordinate the delivery of IT solutions to the business.
Planning and leading EDI projects and enhancement requests, assisting and leading the commissioned project team to devise project plans and define communication strategy to stakeholders. Delivering projects within agreed schedule, budget and scope.
Pro-actively proposing solutions to the business.
Presenting a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements in scope of EDI.
Providing consultative support by developing innovative solutions that effectively drive new opportunities to deliver value to the customers, business, and potentially our suppliers.
Acting as a facilitator in regards to communication between different organizational units.
Acting as a key contact for customers in the specific area of expertise.
Coaching other members of the team on EDI related processes.
Developing mapping, implementing connectivity solution according to the business requirement. Being a member of the EDI Support Team for EMEA region.
Our requirements
A university degree in Information Technology or Business.
4 or more years of EDI experience.
Fluency in English
In depth knowledge of business process mapping, data modeling and broad knowledge of business supporting technologies in the EDI area.
Demonstrated ability to listen and to elicit user requirements and develop effective business solutions.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate between business and information technology.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with all levels of our organization.
Ability of getting work done through others. Experience in working directly with external customer/ vendor.
Experience in use of EDI technologies.
Experience in EDI mapping- AS2, EDIFACT, X12 & others.
Team player skills.
Understanding of industrial manufacturing processes.
Project leadership experience.
