EMEA Intercompany Accountant (m/f/o)

Your responsibilities

  • Raising of intercompany invoices between EMEA entities, and from EMEA to other regions globally,

  • Reconciliation of monthly intercompany balances using the available financial reporting systems,

  • Identify and resolve intercompany out-of-balances in partnership with the EMEA Finance teams,

  • Co-operate with the EMEA Project Accounting and Order Administration teams to ensure correct accounting treatment of intercompany transactions,

  • Manage information requests relating to intercompany transactions and balances and act as a contact point for intercompany in EMEA,

  • Liaise with various EMEA managers for identifying and processing intercompany transactions,

  • Assist with statutory auditors on EMEA intercompany transactions and balances,

  • Provide guidance on intercompany transactions within EMEA and ensure compliance with the Hexagon intercompany policy,

  • Prepare and maintain Intercompany Agreements for EMEA entities,

  • Take a lead role in identifying, evaluating and implementing improvements in the EMEA intercompany process.

  • Providing ad-hoc accounting support to the Intergraph Poland Finance Manager.

Our requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Accounting, preferably to include Intercompany transactions and relationships,

  • Able to maintain strong and influential working relations with other members of the regional Finance team and business partners,

  • Good IT application skills and experience. Experience of using integrated accounting systems and implementing system improvements. Proficient in use of Excel,

  • Knowledge of Polish statutory accounting and tax reporting requirements,

  • Excellent written and spoken English, a confident and concise communicator.

Job Description

Reporting to the EMEA Accounting Manager, this is a hands-on role which will involve working closely with the European Finance Managers and their teams. Based in Warsaw, the role will also provide accounting support to the Finance Manager in Poland.
