EMEA Manufacturing Quality Manager

Your responsibilities

• Build strong technical knowledge of primary and assembly processes across the major product categories.

• Lead, develop, and continuously improve critical parameter management to achieve best in class quality for various systems, sub-systems, and products

• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process and product capability for new product introductions within the Whirlpool product development framework

• Identify, leverage, and standardize best practices from other Whirlpool facilities around the globe

• Ensure new manufacturing processes are flexible in design to accommodate long-range new product cadence plans with the intent of minimizing future capital requirements

• Drive process improvements through the use of structured tools like 8D’s, Six Sigma, WCM, and Lean principles

• Deliver effective presentations, lead workshops, and report performance to the senior leadership team

The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.

This role in summary

This role will serve as the main liaison between the Global Product Organization & Manufacturing facilities for critical parameter management, WCM QC Pillar activities and Global Quality Standardization This position will be responsible for collaborating with regional and global cross-functional teams to improve and maintain process capability in addition to driving improvement in CAL/ZHT, FPY, and 1MIS among other metrics.
