Actively participate in the regional finance leadership teams, and forge a strong direct working relationship with the regional and conutry CFO’s
Partner with senior business leaders to drive agenda and activities of the Compliance and Controls Steering Committees
Manage projects around restructuring and process standardization
Oversee, review and sign-off on the monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, including annual statutory filings
Lead financial accounting, reporting and control activities for complex transactions contemplated in the region
Advise regional team on technical accounting matters, statutory reporting, controls requirements
Collaborate with the key internal customers – partnering with GBS Leadership, regional CFOs, Compliance and Tax teams
Provide open communication channel with respect to controls, accounting and financial reporting between the region and the Global Controller’s Office, including the business, GBS and external auditor
Drive remediation activities for issues identified, ensuring action plans are on track and delivered as promised
Manage regional relationship with external auditor, including audit engagement, procedures and fees
Contribute to building a strong finance talent pool for the region and enterprise
Around 13-15 years of experience
Good working knowledge of technical accounting, controls and controls frameworks, SOX, audit processes, SAP, US GAAP principals
Broad business acumen and analyticall skills, ability to set and drive an agenda and actions, and influence outcomes, ability to develop and deliver a clear and concise message
Individual who will think and act independently as the voice of conscience for the regional leadership team while maintaining a “think customer” orientation to the business and GBS
Demonstrate openness and honesty, behaving consistently and willingness to take a stand for the good of the enterprise
Ability to think enterprise as well as regional
Ability to work with different cultures, good listener, someone who can build trust with team members
Public accounting experience or similar relevant preferred
Undergraduate degree, accounting degree preferred

Join the Global Controller Team and work closely with Kimberly-Clark's Europe, Middle East and Africa CFO's and the Region's Executive Leadership. As EMEA Regional Controler you will cover controlling functions across EMEA and ensure we have a strong control framework. You will be advisor to the business, GBS leadership and teams and be responsible for reporting integrity, effective controls and compliance.
