Your responsibilities
- Assist the Energy Manager in providing a first-class client experience
- Maintain database information in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage invoices and data in a timely manner in readiness for validation and client reports
- Perform invoice validation and generate required reporting
- Assist in the creation of process & procedure documentation and maintain ongoing adherence to processes and procedures
- Regularly interrogate and ensure data completeness for client portfolios
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain information and resolve queries
- Raise cases and queries for any exceptions or issues
- Create and maintain internal service level tracker and generate reports to manage workload
- Attend client meetings and take part in client conference calls where required
- Increase knowledge of the energy industry
- Build effective relationships with suppliers to ensure queries are dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible
- Manage and correct exceptions to ensure data is accurate
- Ensure reporting source data is updating on an ongoing basis as new information is available
Our requirements
- Experience of managing large & diverse portfolios and data sets
- Good understanding of MS packages with at least an intermediate understanding of Excel and ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Demonstrate an aptitude for recognising patterns and inconsistencies relating to billing and consumption data
- Maintain a high level of accuracy
- Making yourself available to support wider team where appropriate
- Demonstrate a willingness to go over and above expected duties
- Inquisitive and questioning attitude with a can-do attitude
- Fluent in English
- Experience & knowledge of the energy markets across Europe will be a valuable asset
- Knowledge of VBA in Excel will be a plus
- Experience in similar role will be an advantage
