Execute durability, fatigue, and tensile tests acc. to Test Specifications;
Design and realization of machine adaptions, CAD proficiency;
Preparation of test reports for creation of material cards for simulation departments;
Perform polymeric and elastomers material characterization including climatic influences and high-speed testing;
Ensures all work is performed in accordance with company safety and quality procedures;
Application of Digital Image Correlation techniques;
Mastering control and measuring techniques (e.g. PID control units).
Master's degree in Mechanical, Materials Science /Engineering;
3+ years hands-on experiences in materials testing;
Work effectively both self-paced and in a collaborative environment;
Organizational skills at high level;
Problem-solving, teamwork skills, working well independently, computer abilities, analytical skills;
Experience in testing machines: Zwick, MTS, Instron, or similar test equipment;
Experience with hydraulic systems and PID control units;
Fluent in English. German will be an advantage.
