    The first automated vehicle to drive coast to coast? That was Aptiv. The first gesture control system for premium cars? That’s us as well.     Software Engineering Group Manager, Autonomous Driving
    Location: Kraków
    Your Role:

    Your main mission will be to build and lead a new engineering team for Autonomous Driving. You will be part of part of a global organization that designs highly Autonomous Driving solutions SAE level 3-4 for our customers in a full agile environment. Anyone interested in software in the car and autonomous driving, will feel at home with us. Anyone who has mental agility and is prepared to face up to new challenges and become familiar with them is the right candidate for us. What we are looking for the employees who can be briefly described as: "Smart and get things done."

    You will: 

    • Build up and lead-by-example our autonomous driving (AD) software team in Krakow
    • Support customer projects in the area of ​AD as a lead contact person
    • Facilitate, empower, excite and support agile software teams in your organization
    • Work closely together with our globally distributed development teams
    • Plan and manage the budget of assigned cost center
    • Plan, monitor and control capabilities of teams
    • Planning skills development & workload of the team members
    • Monitor project execution progress, adjust when needed(e.g. check metrics, key performance indicators)
    • Drive the problem resolution process
    • Provide the vision of the team development to the chief engineer/engineering manager
    • Engineering group members motivation and assessment

    Essential requirements: 

    • Degree in computer science, software engineering, applied math, electrical or electronics engineering
    • Deep understanding of building complex software systems for series production
    • Expert in state-of-the-art software engineering methods & tools
    • Industry experience 8+ years, leadership min. 3 years
    • People management experience
    • Experience in agile software development is beneficial
    • Knowledge in the area of ​​system or software modeling
    • Very good communication skills and persuasiveness
    • Enjoying new challenges and innovative technologies
    • Programming experience in C, C++ or Java
    • Very good English language skills
