About the project

An experienced Engineering Manager is required to manage the cloud infrastructure on which all SaaS Duco products are run. Working closely with local managers and colleagues around the world, you’ll ensure that the infrastructure and supporting orchestration services are consistently stable, resilient and secure.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage a team of eight SREs, across multiple regions, ensuring they are tasked and equipped to succeed

  • Liaise with external suppliers such as hosting & software providers

  • Own and manage the hosting budget (>$5m pa)

  • Manage and run a 24/7 platform support rotation

  • Plan and manage the growth of a multi-region, multi-cloud Kubernetes estate

Our requirements

  • Experience of building and running a significant production infrastructure estate

  • Quick and keen to learn new technologies

  • Happy to operate in a fast paced SME environment and be self managing/motivating

  • AWS experience

  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills


  • Happy to work in a highly collaborative global environment

  • Experience in planning, managing & reporting hosting budgets

  • Experience with kubernetes & containers at scale

  • Desire to have hands-on experience with the platform

  • Experience working in a secure environment (eg financial sector or defence)
