Your responsibilities
- Take ownership of in-depth engagement with Tier-1 Customer technical staff to properly scope project requirements
- Implement profitable manufacturing processes, and optimize manufacturing solutions
- Lead the high-level decision process from a technical standpoint related to vendor selections and manufacturing equipment implementation
- Support technical team of engineers to execute projects
- Define equipment maintenance requirements, identify root causes of equipment failures and develop hands-on maintenance skills
- Work with other engineering stakeholders and customers on problem-solving and continuous improvement to the design of equipment and products
- Inline quality controls, data collection, and data management
Our requirements
- 5-10 years of experience related to manufacturing of energy delivery and storage systems
- Technical educational degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with high throughput battery system manufacturing technologies including inline quality controls, data collection, and management
- Experience with high precision welding technology suitable for a variety of materials and locations within the product (cell to cell, cell to busbar, and busbar to busbar)
- Extended practical knowledge of DC-DC power conversion, battery and system safety, and regulatory compliance related to energy and storage systems
- Understanding of manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies, and techniques in high voltage from low up to high power, EV charging systems, together with system safety and regulatory compliance requirements
- Readiness to travel 50% of the time, mainly in the EU but also to other regions
