Your responsibilities

  • Support various institutions in the US (banks, post offices, medical centers etc.) which are having difficulties in communicating with foreigners living there due to a language barrier

  • Answer requests and translate real-time conversations both ways via video call or a phone call, using a dedicated application

Our requirements

  • Fluency in English and Polish is a must

  • Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy during interpretation

  • Being able to empathize with the caller

  • Legally authorized to work in the country

  • Have the proper equipment (e.g. Internet connection ) space and calm environment to be able to work remotely from home

  • Stress resistant - in the event that one of the speakers is incoherent or upset, especially in emergency situations such as 911 calls

  • Be able to work on a shift schedule (morning and night)

  • Please be advised that one of the steps of the recruitment process is a background check
