Eaton’s eMobility segment is currently seeking a Senior eMobility Electrical Engineer to join our team! This position will be based at our Tczew, Poland location and will be a part of a team developing eMobility systems solutions. The incumbent will work closely with engineers located in various locations in the United States, Europe and Asia. 

Eaton’s eMobility segment is collaborating with companies around the globe to innovate the transportation technologies of the future, creating efficient vehicles that travel faster, farther, higher and safer at a lower overall costto the consumer and the environment.

Enovia Project Lead

In this function you will:

  • Be responsible for implementation and overseeing the operation of the Enovia platform and EPIC (Enovia Project Integration and Collaboration) approach across the eMobility group
  • Develop solutions for process streamlining, operational efficiency improvement and information access in the domain of Enovia
  • Develop PLM (Product Lifecycle Management ) analytics and reporting solutions using Pulse Monitor platform
  • Coordinate development activities with Enovia Steering Committee team, to develop the solutions, test and validate solutions for eMobility business
  • Take ownership of Enovia PLM system for entire eMobility group, application and its integrations with all other business platforms
  • Ensure effective change management processes (PLM) for all project activities
  • Understand and document process re-engineering steps, system integration and users-experience requirements from the users and Business Process Automation (BPA)
  • Analyze schema and architectural changes required and create solutions for world-wide userbase into consideration
  • Analyze impact of proposed solutions to the downstream applications, application integrations, business processes and other related application services
  • Collaborate & lead design discussion with development team to design and architect solutions at software application, systems and/or data integration level using the design best practices and Enovia configuration guidelines
  • Champion Enovia portfolio solution offerings from functional point of view and evaluate it for potential solution to the business user problems or IT application needs
  • Develop best practices for system maintenance and application development for the PLM IT team
  • Support Originators/ Change Request (CR)/ Change Order (CO) during CR/CO creation process. Controls that all data entered are correctly fill in and manages the data. Keep tracking on CR/CO activities in Enovia
  • Support Manufacturing Feasibility Review and Design Specification Feasibility Review processes with Eaton plants and with external customers
  • Provide overall performance metrics to the higher management


Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering degree preferred
  • Min 3 years of experience in Product Lifecycle management (ENOVIA, 3DExperience Platform)
  • Experience with configuration management tools
  • Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • ISO/QS-9000 or ISO/TS16949 certification experience preferable
  • flexibility in terms of working hours
