Your responsibilities
Policies and procedures development related to the environment, health, safety, security, emergency, work environment programs.
Support incidents investigations to determine root cause, required corrective and preventive actions.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant EU and country specific laws and regulations.
Development and delivery of mandatory and non-mandatory training programs.
Risk Assessments completion to improve working conditions.
Reporting potential risks and opportunities.
Communication with local authorities, contractors and employees regarding EHS information.
Reporting compliance obligations to all relevant bodies.
Support tasks assigned by Line Manager
Our requirements
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, health and safety, industrial ecology or other relevant qualification.
Experience in manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
Relevant ISO standards knowledge.
Report writing experience.
Good presentation skills.
Advanced knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations and labour law.
Good problem solver with can do attitude.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Excellent English and Polish speaking and writing skills.
Safety first mindset.
Capability to work independently, able to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and resolve problems in a timely manner.

NORTHVOLT was founded in Sweden in 2016 with the mission of building the greenest lithium-ion batteries in the world, with the lowest carbon footprint and the highest recyclability, to ensure the European transition to renewable energy. The NORTHVOLT team of experts is currently building a new generation lithium-ion cell factory in northern Sweden, focusing on process innovation, scale and vertical integration of processes. When completed, it will be the largest battery cell factory in Europe with an annual production capacity of 40 GWh.
Since 2018, the company has been operating in Poland under the name Northvolt Poland Sp. z o.o. The company was established to meet the growing demand for complete battery systems. Currently, Northvolt Poland plans to increase its production capacity by building a highly automated and state-of-the-art production plant.
