Your responsibilities

  • Apply advanced professional knowledge on the area of change management, employee expertise and culture communication

  • Oversee theoretical concepts and principles

  • Provide functional Health, Safety and Well-being knowledge and expertise

  • Prepare information used for decision making. Solve complex and diverse issues, developing and proposing solutions

  • Develop Health, Safety and Well-being related steering documents

  • Develop Health, Safety and Well-being strategy, targets and risks

  • Define and deploy Health, Safety and Well-being related programs

  • Decrease number and severity of incidents

  • Reduce work related ill-health

  • Minimize OHS risks and environmental negative impacts

Our requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree and/or recognized formal Environmental and/or OHS qualification e.g. degree or diploma. Example: Post Grad / Degree and MSc in Environment and/or OHS Management or NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or another recognized certification)

  • 1-2 years of experience

  • Good knowledge of Polish health and safety regulations

  • Good writing, reporting and analytical skills

  • Sustainability and corporate responsibility skills

  • Being persuasive

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Self-reliance, the ability to carry out tasks responsibly

  • Proficiency in English (min. B2)

About this opportunity

We are now looking for an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist, to provide comprehensive Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) support, coordinate responsibilities to meet business needs and ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety requirements and procedures.

As an EHS Specialist you will be promoting a culture oriented towards the protection of health, safety and the environment, assisting and supporting the CU NOCE EHS Lead.

Responsibilities will include timely reporting to management on any safety accidents, incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and environmental status in line with corporate KPI’s.

The position is based in Ericsson’s office in Poland and working from home is a possibility.
