As a Service Consultant at proALPHA, you will advise and support our customers on all issues relating to logistics (purchasing, sales, materials management and production). Whether via e-mail, telephone or remote access: you analyze, process and solve complex problems with a broad repertoire of different tools. In doing so, you will use our knowledge base, which is filled by means of KCS (Knowledge-Centered Service), and expand it collectively and demand-based together with our knowledge workers. Through your collaboration with the service consultants, developers and system engineers of our company, you will form a central interface between the software and the customer.
You will work in partnership with customers to develop solutions to complex problems.
This includes systematic research in our internal knowledge databases, analysis on the customer's system, as well as reproducing the customer's concerns in our reference systems
In addition, you will also provide smaller consulting services
You will support our customers in the implementation of commercial and logistical business processes
A detailed and complete documentation of your solutions and work progress round off your work
You have successfully completed your studies with a focus on logistics/production or your commercial training (e.g. industrial clerk)
You score with relevant professional experience as well as initial knowledge of ERP or merchandise management programs
You are flexible and open to shift work
You use your expertise and analytical skills to provide the best possible customer service and accept constantly changing and exciting tasks as a challenge.
You align your actions with the needs of our customers, signal your readiness for service and communicate tactfully and confidently in English - knowledge of German or French is an advantage
