We are looking for an exceptional individual to develop within EMEIA Bid Finance. In the role, you will be a key player responsible for constructing winning financial propositions for our customers in Western Europe,(with potential support of UK and Scandi Regions too)
As an Expert Bid Finance lead, you will be a key member of our customer facing team, developing compelling propositions that delight our customers and secure optimal terms for our medium to large contracts. You will be a key person involved in setting pricing strategy, contributing to presentations and negotiations, and managing financial risk. Leading the finance work stream on Medium to large complexity level deal opportunities (typically on deals up to €30m Total Contract Value) in order to:
Shape deals to get the best possible financial outcomes for Fujitsu and ensure pricing to potential customers is market aligned
Clearly articulate and present the financial business case on specific deals
Driving creative and innovative pricing and financial solutions to solve customers’ business case challenges.
Internal governance management – including collaboration with and presenting to key individuals, ensuring all internal financial documentation is complete and accurate
Responsible for production of external customer pricing documentation and ensure alignment to internal governance approval.
Understand where specific technical financial issues may arise and work with the relevant experts to resolve, in line with Fujitsu policies and procedures.
Ensure deals are handed over to Project & Contract Accounting in line with the approved handover process.
Strong feedback from key stakeholders, including Sales, Commercial & Solution Architect communities
Demonstrable evidence that charging mechanisms implemented within customer contracts protect Fujitsu's approved internal business case
Adherence to Corporate policy and relevant financial accounting standards
Provision of accurate, timely, relevant information in the desired format at all stages of a bid to all customers
Clear and comprehensive reporting of financial performance, including realistic presentation of risks and opportunities and financial projections based on clear operational dependencies
Recommends changes/ development/ streamlining of processes based on best-practice methodologies to support the EMEIA Bid Finance community.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Advanced Microsoft Excel; intermediate PowerPoint & Word
Minimum of 3 years of practical work experience in a finance function or specialist function
Some commercial finance experience an advantage
Some Financial Accounting experience beneficial, post graduate Finance qualification not a prerequisite
